Birthdays are always exciting occasions, especially when you’re young and birthdays equated to presents. That’s why I always felt bad for those people whose birthdays fell on a holiday, such as Halloween. It just feels like you have to share the special day with another “person”. Luckily, I was not born on a holiday, but I do know a few people who were born on October 31st. If you know someone born on the scariest day of the year, help them celebrate their birthday, along with Halloween, with these unique group gift ideas.
Tickets to Knott’s Scary F
arm or a local amusement park: Most amusement parks now set aside a few weeks around Halloween time to turn their theme parks into a haunted playground. Get a group of friends together, and the birthday star is guaranteed to have a screaming good time.
Ghost tour: If the birthday boy prefers something more low-key than a trip to the amusement park, how about a private ghost tour? Most areas have local legends about haunted houses, roaming ghosts, etc. Invite a few friends and be prepared to scream and howl the brains out of yourselves.
Murder Mystery Dinner Theater: If the birthday girl is a scaredy-cat and would rather not be spooked (like me!) take the group out to a dinner theater, or create your own murder mystery at home! This idea has food, fun, and mystery all rolled into one!

I agree- experience gifts are great ideas and these are great for someone who's daring and likes to be scared.
